Lamar Hurd

Lamar won 3 state titles in Texas, leading Heritage Christian Academy to a USA Today Top 25 national ranking.

He was the starting point guard for Oregon State University from 2002-2006. He received All-Pac 10 Honors, shared the team’s MVP award and was named to the Pac-10 All Academic first team. In 2005, he captained an Athletes In Action team that traveled to East Asia. Lamar followed his college career by playing professionally in Germany’s 1st division, considered to be one of Europe’s top professional basketball leagues.  In the spring of 2008, Lamar was part of the 4-man hiring committee that landed President Barack Obama’s brother-in-law, Craig Robinson, as the head men’s basketball coach of Oregon State University.

Along with directing All In One Basketball, Lamar currently serves as a primary college basketball analyst for Fox Sports Northwest.  With FSN, Lamar provides commentary and basketball expertise for their studio show, College Hoops Northwest, and also live at Oregon State University men’s basketball games.

Lamar graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Communications.
